On the 13th of august 2008 Viet Nam government issued Decree 90/2008/ND-CP for the specific content of anti-spam activities in Information Technology law. On the 30th of December 2008, Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular no. 12/2008/TT-BTTTT guiding some of the content in Decree 90/2008/ND-CP.

Outside of the anti-spam issued regulations, we also need a combination of different measures such as building technical solutions, conducting activities to improve awareness users, collaboration between institutions and countries as well as international organizations.

Ministry of Information and Communications assign a task to VNCERT center for construction overall program operations against spam in Vietnam.

The objectives anti-spam coordination website is to improve awareness, coordinate activities and provide necessary instructions for the object concerned.
